FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • I specialize in working with personal brands and small businesses from any industry or location, as long as we're a good fit. If you’re a heart-centered solopreneur that values positivity and integrity, and you’re looking for a web designer to craft an exceptional online experience for your customers—get in touch! (That being said, note that I don’t focus on e-commerce websites though.)

  • I don’t offer full-scale brand design, but I do create Mini Brand Kits that cover the essentials to kick off your project. It is considered an intensive, with an extremely quick turnaround time compared to full-scope projects. Over the course of 1 week, I will create all the necessary assets for your brand. However, if you want to dive deeper into your brand’s identity and messaging, I recommend connecting with a brand specialist before starting your website journey. They can also help with product packaging, print materials, social media templates, etc.

  • Once we’ve scheduled your project, I’ll walk you through everything I need from you and how to get prepared. But if you want a head start, here’s what you can expect me to ask for:

    // Branding

    To create your website, I’ll need your logos, brand colors, fonts, and brand guidelines. If you don’t have any brand materials, consider adding a Mini Brand Kit to your website package so we can hit the ground running.

    // Images

    You’ll need to provide some compelling pictures of yourself, and optionally a few images of your workspace or other visuals to enhance your site. If it’s in your budget, hiring a professional brand photographer is a great way to ensure a consistent and authentic vibe throughout your website.

    // Website Copy

    It’s also crucial that you have your website copy ready for all pages by our project start date. To help you structure and write your copy, you'll receive a comprehensive strategy guide along with a copywriting template. However, if writing isn’t your thing at all or you’d rather leave it to a pro, I recommend reaching out to a dedicated copywriter some time ahead.

    // Legal Policies

    Navigating legalities can be tricky. While I’ll build the structure for your legal pages, you are responsible to supply the legal text. You can either draft it yourself or consult a legal expert to ensure the documents are tailored to your business needs.

  • We will book your project far enough in advance for you to complete your work. But I understand that “life happens” and if you don't finish on time, you can rebook your project to a later start date for an additional fee or I can just start the work with placeholders that you can replace with your own content later.

  • I will make sure basic SEO settings are in place (site title, description, image ALT text, browser icon, etc). However SEO is a separate marketing exercise that you must undertake after the site is launched.

  • For all website packages, I provide 14 days of post-launch technical support to assist with any questions or issues you might have, ensuring you’re fully comfortable with your new site. If you require any further edits or updates after this period, I can provide you with a customized quote.

  • Yes, there are a few ongoing costs to keep your site live and running smoothly. These include your website hosting (Squarespace Business Plan), domain registration, email hosting, and any third-party tools like newsletter platforms or booking systems.

    Also, if you decide to use premium icons, paid fonts, or stock images/videos, you’ll need to purchase the appropriate licenses for those elements.

  • My web design services are split into two payments. After we’ve set a start date and signed the contract, you’ll receive an invoice for a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your spot in my calendar. The final 50% is due before I deliver your completed website and transfer ownership to you.

    All my payments are processed online. Since I’m a German-registered business, my package prices and invoices are in EUR (€). But don’t worry, you can still pay in your local currency (USD, GBP, etc.). For non-EU clients, I’ll send a payment link for credit or debit card transactions. The amount will be charged in EUR, and your bank will automatically handle the conversion. If you're in the EU, payments can also be made via bank transfer. Also note that there’s no VAT on any of my website design services.
